Ghost Finder London - App

Looking for the spookier side to London? Then this is the must-have app for you...

London has a rich haunted heritage, and from well-known ghosts to some of the more obscure, this app features over 300 haunted locations around the city, the map uses your phone's GPS to bring the spooks to you!

Superbly written by Richard Holland, author of Haunted Wales and one of the UK's leading paranormal researchers, the app uses google maps to locate individual hauntings. Skeletal Beefeater’s pinpoint the ghosts location and link through to great little gazetteer style articles.

Alternatively there is a very easy to use A-Z style listing to scroll through which I found easier to use if you didn't want to navigate around the map of London.

As Richard says, it's a frighteningly enjoyable resource for Londoners and tourists alike and I have to agree with him, in fact, I should admit to being a little bit jealous that it features more London ghosts than we have on Mysterious Britain (but not for long!!).

Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad.Requires iOS 4.3 or later.

Available to buy for £1.99 via the iTunes store.  [Click images to enlarge]

Two Haunted Counties - A Ghost Hunter's Companion to Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire by Tony Broughall & Paul Adams

Two Haunted Counties

As it says on the back cover of the book, a twelfth century Gilbertine priory, a Chrysler car factory, a de-sanctified church and a Georgian period lavatory are just a few of the haunted localities from the case files of 1970s ghost buster Tony Broughall. Read More »
