All Souls Day
All Souls Day is related to Samhain and commemorating the dead.

Guy Fawkes Night
Celebration to commemorate the saving of the Houses of Parliament from the Gunpowder Plotters in 1605. The festival was decreed by an act of parliament. It is celebrated with bonfires and fireworks and the traditional burning of a dummy called the Guy. The original plotters were hung drawn and quartered in London.
Turning the Devil's boulder Shebear in Devon
A boulder is turned every year to ensure luck for the village. There are a number of legends associated with the stone. The Devil is said to lie underneath it, or the Devil dropped it or threw it at the local church. A story also suggests that it was the foundation stone for Henscott Church, which was moved every night by supernatural means.
