Fortean Phenomena Devil's Footprints Loch Ness Monster Lake Monsters Dragons Other Mysteries This part of the site will highlight some of the other mysteries within the British Isles, mainly phenomena that does not fall into any of the current categories. This catagory will eventually include everything from mysterious out of place animals, to strange objects falling from the skies. Our first plunge into the realms of the fortean will be to take a look at the strange appearance of the 'Devils footprints' in Devon in 1855. On the morning of the 9th of February people in Devon woke up to find a trial of cloven hoof prints in the snow. They led over houses through small drainage pipes and far over the countryside.
