Book Review
Paranormal Lancashire by Daniel Codd
Being born and bred in Lancashire I've grown up surrounded by the rich folklore, ghost stories and paranormal experiences that are embedded in the county, call me bias, but we have some of the most diverse and well documented stories from the famous Pendle witches to headless boggarts, lonely ghosts, black cat sightings and UFO's. Dunadd
The ancient king seat of Dunadd - capital of the kingdom of Dalraidia (Dal Riata) - rises out of the barren flatness of Crinan Moss, the raised bog floodplain of the meandering River Add. This rocky outcrop was the power base of the Scotti tribe, who invaded from Ireland around the 5th century AD. Read More »

Very nice Guitars and an even better looking pad you have there, or is it a castle? Going by that massive fireplace oozing out in the pics and outdoing the guitars in the shoot along with the dream kitchen. Your ace on the camera. Great pics...dont mind grumpy old me, but for sheer cuteness my old cheapo 60's "KAY Audition" Woolworths Jap guitar sure beats those two on looks and it dont sound too bad either on a cheapo Fender amp without all the overdubbed effects the whiz kids use today...makes me wonder is it really them playing. Being myself a learner on the guitar and the only guitarists who first dented an impression on me are Hank Marvin and Jimi Hendrix.... the rest are inbetweeners. Still waiting on any G sounds to outdo the originals. What do you think...1958 "Move it" Boring old Cliff...Fantastic... equalled or beat anything Elvis ever did.
Been mucking about with a boss micro BR, a tiny digital 4 track not much bigger than an i-phone with a built in mic. Here's a song I wrote probably at the same time as I had the idea for this website as it covers similar ideas about loss of traditions, folklore mythology etc - it was a poem for long before that. Just guitar and bass was originally just an acoustic song in double drop d tuning.

not quite pro recording but not bad for a tiny machine you can put in your pocket, might add a boran drum to it at some point
Thats a new web site to me, never knew it was there til I clicked on your link. Good singing and smooth guitar. Sounded good on my laptop even. All those people you can follow on SoundCloud. Dont know what follow means yet below the pics. I've not tinkered long enough...but hope to get the hang of using Sound-Cloud. Everybody on this page of yours are good players....I'm just going over to kick my amp.
Only just started to use this website as well viking, got the nod from a fellow musician in Glasgow, so not sure how it all works - although easy to upload tunes without video, only joined to stick up this tune but it seems pretty good.

Hi Dan, thats actually pretty good. Now stop writing songs and get some articles submitted :)
Hi, Can anybody who knows about guitar pedals tell me what effects will a Digitech XP200 Modulator give me?
Hi, Can anybody who knows about guitar pedals tell me what effects will a Digitech XP200 Modulator give me?
( Never bought it anyway as there was no power pack with it and these dont run on a 9v battery.)
Apologies, been away for a while, digitech are great effects, but hardly use effects, roland/boss are great but swear by Marshal bluesbreaker and echohead pleadal(s) combined with marshall amp: covers most vintage tones.
Thanks Dan, I'll take a note of those two pedal names.
Hi,
Another rubbish song wins the Euro song contest sounding like the film Titanics theme song going to the deep. The real winners were Macedonia.....better singer better musicians Only my opinion. What a farce..killing all the birds and strays in a city to front fuck knows what.! Save some starving kids, with all the razzamataz spent on bilge. What at a waste of money on a bunch of wasters. But thats only my opinion. Get real.....where has the spirit of the 1960's gone?
