Heathrow Terminal 5
I just want to have a quick rant about Terminal 5. It's apparent that the designer(s) are not frequent fliers, and they've created an expensive BA hub that is not passenger friendly. I've passed through the terminal twice in the last few weeks, both times I'd flown with BA from another airport and needed a connecting flight. My big whinge is about...Security. I just don't understand why passengers who have already flown that day need to be screened again when they have had no access to their bags or the shops. What a waste of time and money. What really annoyed me...............I couldn't buy any spirits at duty free in the USA because my final destination was Manchester and not London, which meant that the bottle would be confiscated by security at T5 because you can't take liquids on board in your hand luggage. I'd just like to say a big thankyou to all the Islamic fundamentalists and their sympathisers. Without your attempts to blow up our airports and aircraft over the last few years, we wouldn't need such stringent security checks and stupid rules to make our boring insignificant lives such a misery. MI5 are looking forward to meeting you, and so am I.
