It looks we might actually get a decent Summer this year. So where do you recommend for day trips and holidays (anywhere worldwide is fine). If we have covered any of the places on this website stick a comment under the article as well with your opinions of the place.
I won't be getting away now until September but I might be able to visit a few places over weekends.
Lochs & Glens tours picks up from Glasgow. They have a hotel on the banks of glorious Loch Tummel, close to some of the most unspoilt areas of Scotland but within reach of some of the most popular. In September the midges aren't a problem anymore either.
