Hi to all
Hi to all of you, I'm Amelia & I am here on this site because I think I may have had an experience today of the spirit kind..... not the alcohol type either. I was trying to find out a bit of history about the place I was in to see if anyone else had experienced anything similar & i stumbled across this site. It seems like an interesting site & I hope to explore more.

Hi Amelia, Welcome to the site.
Hi Amelia, welcome to Mysterious Britain :) Where did you have your experience?
Hi ian, thanks for your welcome. My experience was in a public house called the Roos Arms. It was mid afternoon, which i think is what totally threw me. I went there for a family meal, haven't been there for years & know nothing of its history or even if it is haunted it was broad daylight & I was in a group of people with my back to the room. Some of the group were at the bar, the rest seated in front of me. I felt a someone approach me, slightly behind to the right hand side of me & clearly heard a male voice say hello. I turned around to say hi & to see who it was. No one was there, the room was empty except for the people in front of me & at the bar. My sister asked who i was looking for & confirmed that no one had approached me. She would have seen as she was sat opposite me. If it had been dark or I had gone there knowing that it had a reputation for strange things I could have put it down to my imagination but it was as real as i am sitting here. I have a good imagination but I do know what is real & just in my head. Have you had anything like this happen to you?
Hi Amelia - hope you find something you like, interesting experience might be worth checking out the pub history
Hi Daniel, i've tried searching for history of pub but so far haven't found anything. So far I really like the site, everyone seems really nice & welcoming.
Hi Amelia, where is the Roos Arms?
Hi Ian,
Roos Arms is in East Yorkshire. We have quite a lot of haunted pubs in the area but until the other day I hadn't known anything about this particular one.
Hi Amelia, a late welcome is better than none at all :)
Hey Amelia (lovely name by the way) welcome ^_^
