Getting over fears.

I have been afraid of ghosts since as long as I can remember. My friends and I play this game at night called Jailbreak and we run around in the dark. Well one of the guys said he actually saw I ghost. I always work alone in the game because everyone else is too loud. I am afraid I am going to run into this ghost (not literally) and my team needs me to be on my A game. How can I get over this fear?
A lot of the time when people see a ghost they have no idea that it is a ghost at the time of the experience. So, even if you do see one, you may not actuall recognise it as being one. You should also consider that no one has been hurt by a ghost and there is no evidence to back up the theory that they are spirits. Therefore, and this is what would worry me, they probably are not intelligent or in possession of a personality.
