Hi,
Has anyone any information on the Toxteth Dingle (valley & brook), [where] "Once a Naiad rolled her flood..." ?
http://gerryco23.wordpress.com/2010/11/18/the-dingle-digging-into-the-past/
The brook no longer exists but the lady naiad was celebrated with a statue - which has also disappeared it seems.
Are there any book references for the story of this lady of the stream please?
Thanks,
Ric
