Glowing Green Ladies
I have noticed that the majority of Green Ladies have been seen in Scotland. See the map here. I was starting to assume that the term was a purely Scottish one for describing ghosts and probably had some cultural significance. However, I was recently approached by a Scott I know who shared his personal eye witness account of seeing a Green Lady and a Green Man. Hopefully I can persuade him to share the accounts with you all, but he did describe each, without any kind of prompting as having a green glow. Do you know of any other green ladies that have been seen recently and described as actually glowing green?

You know, this map is missing one. The Green Lady of Dunstaffnage castle. My memory of the story is vague, but I seem to recall that sightings of her relate to the taking o the castle by the Campbells, though I could be mistaken.

I tried writing a comment but it disappeared. In short, what about the Celtic Green Man, Holly / Oak King, depending on season, samhain [hallow'een] or Beltane [mayday]. Especially at yule (from ancient 'huul' = sun, we also get 'wheel' from this root word) A friend (we shared a room), when a little girl, had seen (in Scotland) a Grey Lady? with 'no eyes', sitting in an old chair (rocking chair) watching her...just felt like writing in.(My Scottish relatives, the border Armstrong [please read about them, plus other border clans,Armstrong museum in Langolm, near Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway) I guess you'll have considered The Green Man /Horned God?
Dunstaffnage Castle, thats another on my to do list then :).
I suppose their coul dbe connections with iconic celtic figures, but folklore and legend influence how an apparition is percieved or described by a witness, that is of course if all these "green" ladies were seen in the green as to say.
