Looks odd, but image is a bit small to see clearly.

The image is definitely too small – could be anything. But I bet it will be reported in future as the ghost Jenner!

I wish BBC made a higher quality image avalible so that mysteryshopper and I could argue over it… I mean analyze it.  But he’s right (atm) it’s too small to tell.

And then I just realized that this is a thread necro form last year…. LOL

Thanks for the link Ruis.  It certainly looks like a figure.  I’m not very good at analysing photographs but I bet someone will come up a reasonable explaination.

What do you think, MS?  Looks like the stuff in the room might be creating some sort of optical illusion to me, but I can’t say for sure.

Given the shadows are well to the left of objects in the photo, it looks as though ambient light was used, not flash. That being the case, it was almost certainly a long exposure. In such cases, it is easy for objects to wander in and out of the shot while the shutter is open and appear transparent. I’m not sure how the panoramic photo was taken – whether just using a wide angle lens or rotating and stitching. Either way, a long exposure looks likely.
