New Case - Baby Photograph
The following photograph was submitted via e-mail.
"my son lives with his girlfriend and 1yr old daughter, he sent me a photo of her today, taken near his front door and to the right of the child is an outline image that appears to be a victorian girl/boy? he is totally freaked out as last night bags of new clothing for the child were thrown all around their living room and noises were heard from different rooms, the bedroom lights came on and the tv powered up and place mats/coasters were stacked up on their own."
The photograph may of course have nothing to do with the above disturbed items. Any suggestions or thoughts on the picture?

The figure looks like a line drawing to me.
It's very blurred, suggesting a long exposure. The 'figure' could be a partial image of something not in the original frame (hence its translucent quality) but caught as the camera moved during the exposure. Are there any clear shots of the wider area, ideally taken around the same time?
I'm not sure if there are any other pictures taken at that time, I'll try to find out though.
The figure looks like a line drawing to me.
That was my first thought too. Some sort of reflection?
Summum Nec Metuam Diem Nec Optima
The photo looks like a doll, somehow. There is much light on
the picture, and it also looks like a reflection of something...could there be any similar photos on the film? I know nothing of how photos can be caused to look like they sometimes appear.
Try, of course, the A.S.S.A.P. (who recently did an article about 'ghost' images on film'....[tape-measure] Sorry, but although initially sxciiting, I HAVE to be open-minded, but Sceptical, like whom I consider to the best Parapsychologists, such as Dr.Ciaran O'Keefe [excuse spelling, please! and to Dr. O'Keef, please tell him I am a big fan; he reminds me of the great Colin Wilson [everyone should have at least one Colin Wilson book in their collection, or one he has written an introduction to...plus his family...) Try Wilson, Grant et al 'Directory of Posibilities', or 'Mammoth Books''Unsolved Mysteries' [also Peter Haining'True Hauntings' [et al...]
More on books one day. What do YOU think, Ian?
Well, I am the Heritage Officer for ASSAP and some of its members do come and post on here, so I suppose in a way they are getting some of the associations opinions. As for Colin Wilson, yeah, I have quite a few of his books. I don't really know Ciaran but I struggle to take anyone who appeared on Most Haunted seriously, regardless of how good they may be.
Ian, sorry to overdose you with my mania and your little, precious time. 'Mysterious Britain & Ireland', like A.S.S.A.P. are very new to me...had some lovely talks with George on the phone. He is so forgiving and understanding. Re Ciaran and 'Most Haunted', I HAVE to agree with you (despite what I wrote just now on another PM; but at least he is sceptical and writes off most of what they say and do...) Reminded of Helena Blavatsky (groan!) and her ''raps are the easiest...'' 'occurence' / quotation...
All the very best to you and your delightful family. Hope you got some ideas about the baby photograph, and 'green ladies' / creatures in my beloved (Border) Scotland. Penny. )O(
