The Sun Newspaper has reported on a second Halo cloud sighting.

The article does actually include a credible explanation from the Met Office.

A natural occuring phenomenon for sure, but given the Met Office recent "it's going to be a very mild winter" fiasco I would have posted the explanation as "a meteorologist who wants to remain anonymous". ;-)
