Legends of the British Isles and Ireland

In this section we will be examining the roots of some of the legends from Britain and Ireland, as well as creating a comprehensive list of the actual legends.

Some of the legends found here could just as easily be placed under the mantle of folktales as the boundaries between them quite blurred.
We have included many of the popular catagory's of legends but will look to keep expanding this topic further.
