Boggo Road Gaol, Brisbane

Now a heritage site, the listed Brisbane Jail, or Boggo Road Gaol, which closed in 1989 had a reputation of being haunted. The ghost is said to be Ernest Austin who was executed on 22 September 1913 for the rape and murder of Ivy Mitchell at Cedar Creek Road, near Samford. Read More »

Old Nunnery, Pomona

The Old Nunnery at 5 Church Church, Pomona was an historic building and part of the towns heritage trail. Reputedly haunted by nuns, the Old Nunnery was sold by the Catholic Church in the 1980's and was a private residence until it was destroyed by fire in 2007.
