Sales Person Required


We are looking for UK based independent sales representatives to sell advertising space on the Mysterious Britain & Ireland website on a commission only basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a popular, established website.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell advertising space on www.mysteriousbritain.co.uk
  • Identify and follow up on new leads.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  • Explain the benefits of advertising with Mysterious Britain & Ireland using statistics on viewing figures as evidence.
  • E-mail media/advertisers' kits and follow up.
  • Communicate with clients regarding ad copy and special promotions, ensuring they receive the best quality service possible.
  • Communicate with the design team on client requests for ad design and any necessary changes.
  • Obtain client approval on proofs for all new ads and copy changes.
  • Communicate regularly with Advertising Sales Manager regarding questions, problems, and progress.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques would be an advantage.
  • Persuasive ability.
  • Confident and outgoing personality with the ability to create relationships with customers.
  • Numeracy.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be registered self employed.
  • Have access to a computer with internet connection and access to a telephone.
