| Kellie Castle |
The castle was originally in the hands of the Oliphant family who built it in the 14th century.
The castle is said to be the haunt of two spirits. The ghosts of James Lorimer, who leased the property in 1878 after it had been abandoned, is said to have been seen seated in one of the castles corridors. He completed extensive renovation of the castle.
The other ghosts is that of a lady called Ann Erskine, who fell to her death from one of the castle windows. She makes her presence felt by mysterious footsteps, which have no source.

| Anstruther Harbour |
The harbour is said to have witnessed a miracle during the Dark Age.
The Vikings made an assault on the Isle of May, which was then the home of St Adrian. He was slaughtered, and his body was lain to rest on the island.
One morning some fishermen in Anstruther Harbour saw a strange sight in the early morning mist, floating towards them, carried on the tide was a stone coffin. They pulled it ashore and inside found the preserved remains of St Adrian. He is said to have been reburied in the local churchyard.
