| The Aveley Abduction 27th October 1974 |
This is a famous case within the annals of UFO history, but it must be stressed that the abduction scenario only emerged after hypnotic regression, which at best is highly unreliable.
John and Alain Avis (pseudonyms) were driving home to Aveley with their three children, when they ran into a green fog. They drove straight through it and their radio started to crackle and smoke, but they emerged from it further down the road.
They suffered a period of missing time, and after strange dreams they were hypnotically regressed, which revealed a classic abduction scenario, involving aliens from another planet.

| Joyce Bowles and Ted Pratt were driving down the A272 when the car started to jolt and shake, and then veered off the road into a grass verge by the roadside. The car was subject to electrical interference as the engine roared, and the lights seemed to be shine brighter than normal. They spotted what appeared to be a cigar shaped craft with three entities behind a window in the object. As they watched a bearded humanoid wearing a silver suit came out of the object, walked to the car and looked in on the occupants. He then disappeared and the couple were able to drive off. |

Broad Haven was the scene of a UFO flap during the late 1970's. There were several reported sightings; the most widely publicised was the strange visitation to a field near to Broad Haven Primary School in February 1977.
14 primary children witnessed a silvery yellow cigar shaped UFO, and a few also witnessed a humanoid figure in a silver suit. Following this report there were adult witnesses to a dome shaped UFO in the same vicinity. There were several more sightings over the following months, which levelled off considerably after 1977.
