| A security guard at Cairo Mill, witnessed a UFO lit with a blue light after hearing a humming noise outside the mill. It was described as 30 metres in diameter, saucer shaped with a large window. After about 5 minutes the UFO turned and shot away into the sky. The factory cat also disappeared at the same time. The area has also been subject to other sightings and phenomena. |
| 11th January 1973 |
Peter Day, employed as a surveyor was driving towards Aylesbury when he witnessed an amber light near some tree tops about a mile away from his location, the object seemed to be pulsating.
Peter had a film camera with him at the time and managed to film the object, which was examined by Kodak and passed as genuine. A jet crashed on the same day but was much later than when the film was taken. There were also independent witnesses to the encounter.

| 16th October 1973, Langford Budville, Somerset, England |
A 43-year-old woman, whose name has been withheld, was driving to Langford Budville, when the engine and lights cut out from her car. She got out of the car to check what was wrong and felt something touch her arm. She turned to be confronted by a 6-foot tall robot like entity. She then underwent an abduction in which she was examined and sexually assaulted by one of three entities. Later, waking in her car she found that three hours had passed.
It is not clear whether her recollections were the result of hypnotic regression..

| Around 8.30pm on this day something is supposed to have crashed into the side of Cader Bronwen in Clwyd in Wales. The police sealed off the general area and military helicopters were also witnessed in the location. The event has been subject to much speculation. |
