Lindisfarne Priory UFO Sighting (793AD)
In 793AD monks at the monastery of St Cuthbert witnessed 'dragons' flying in the sky and other strange sky-bourne portents. Shortly after the sighting in January, the monastery was attacked and razed by Viking invaders. The dragons were seen as an evil omen. (This is taken from the Anglo Saxon Chronicles).
Llanerchymedd UFO (1978)
On 1st September 1978 in Llanerchymedd, Anglesey, some young boys who were playing football saw what they thought was a helicopter land in a field close to where they were playing. They went over out of curiosity and found that it was a white object like a smooth nosed rocket. They went to fetch some adults who also witnessed two 6-foot humanoids in one-piece suits near to the object. Read More »
Moigne Down UFO (1967)
On 26 October 1967 at about 11.25 am, J.B.W. Brooks was walking his two dogs, an Alsatian and a Dalmatian, along the Moigne Down near Holworth during a force eight gale. He took shelter by lying down on his back in a hollow in the ground. Read More »
Norwich UFO (1908)
28th January 1908, people working at the 'Norwich Transportation Company' on a night shift, were witness to a 'dark globular object' with a structure of some kind upon the side of it. The object was travelling at great speed.
Polbeth UFO (1995)
In November 1995 Brian Curran took video footage of an orange stationary object with a dimpled surface. Later analysis showed that there were two small portions missing from the object that seemed to fill back in. The encounter ended when the object shot off at great speed.
Prescott UFO Sighting

RAF Bentwater UFO (1956)
On 13th August 1956 the Radar Station at RAF Bentwaters, (RAF and USAF) tracked a UFO flying at 5,000 mph towards the air base at around 10.55pm. A Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star was diverted to check out the object. About an hour later that night another UFO was tracked, this time there was a ground sighting from a control tower, which was witnessed as a bright light travelling very fast. Read More »
Ranton UFO (1954)
On 21st October 1954 in Ranton, Staffordshire, Jessie Rosenberg, then aged 29, and her two children, witnessed a lens shaped object flying overhead. They also saw two humanoid figures with blond hair staring down at them. They were so scared by the encounter that they hid under a table in their house.
It is reported that they had several psychic experiences afterwards.

Saltwood
On 16th October 1963 two young couples were out courting near Saltwood (which has been the scene of numerous strange events) in Kent, when they witnesses a bright star shaped object hovering near some trees. Sheerness UFO (1912)
On 12th October 1912 at Sheerness, Kent, a dark object, that was making strange buzzing noises, was seen passing overhead. This was one of the sightings during the phantom airship wave during the early part of the 1900's.
South Shields UFO (1966)

Southend-on-Sea UFO (1954)
14 October 1954 while flying over the Thames Estuary near Southend-on-Sea, at about 4.15pm, Flight Lieutenant James Saladin ,who was piloting a Gloster Meteor Mark VIII, spotted three objects approaching him. Two of these objects, one gold and one silver, flew to either side of his aircraft, and one directly in his flight path. He submitted a report of the incident to his airbase.
Telford UFO Abduction (1981)
On 16th July 1981near Telford three women travelling in a car witnessed a UFO, and then suffered a period of missing time. When they were hypnotically regressed they all remembered different details and entities as part of an abduction scenario.

Winchester UFO (1976)
On 14th November 1976 about 9.00pm near Winchester, Joyce Bowles and Ted Pratt were driving down the A272 when the car started to jolt and shake, and then veered off the road into a grass verge by the roadside.
