Based in what was a sixteenth century barn, the Lost Society bar restaurant on Wandsworth Road is reputed to be haunted by a murdered flower seller named Rose Deveraux. The barn was once part of the Clapham Manor Estate and who’s main house was once the venue for a banquet in honour of Queen Elizabeth I. Dr John Dee is also said to have been amongst those who attended.

Tomnahurich Hill - which means hill of the yews - is a rounded tree covered hillock on the outskirts of Inverness, the hill has a wealth of traditions associated with it, and it is famed as an abode of the fairies. A modern cemetery now covers the hill. Read More »
