Here is a news article about a wind farm in Lincolnshire which has had one of it's windmills damaged. Could it be as some are suggesting, a UFO? Maybe one with a trainee pilot?
... bird strike. The blades used on windmills are much more fragile than you'd expect.
I suggest the owners to check the immediate vicinities for any scattered feathers.
Otherwise another "possible" explanation is an helicopter pilot willing to prove his skills by mimicking Lara Croft...
