Llanerchymedd UFO (1978)

On 1st September 1978 in Llanerchymedd, Anglesey, some young boys who were playing football saw what they thought was a helicopter land in a field close to where they were playing. They went over out of curiosity and found that it was a white object like a smooth nosed rocket. They went to fetch some adults who also witnessed two 6-foot humanoids in one-piece suits near to the object.

Cader Bronwen UFO

On 23rd January 1974 around 8.30pm something is supposed to have crashed into the side of Cader Bronwen in Clwyd in Wales. The police sealed off the general area and military helicopters were also witnessed in the location. The event has been subject to much speculation.

Warminster

Warminster was the centre of a UFO flap during the 1960s and 70s and became a UFO Mecca for many years. UFO groups and interested people held many sky watches in the area. Specifically from Cradle Hill and Starr Hill.

10 August 1965

Bournebrook UFO (1901)

In 1901a report was made of a ‘hut’ landing in a field near Bournebrook in the West Midlands. The ‘hut’ – as it is described – was occupied by small men wearing tin helmets. This ‘hut’ then took off into the sky.

RAF Bentwater UFO (1956)

On 13th August 1956 the Radar Station at RAF Bentwaters, (RAF and USAF) tracked a UFO flying at 5,000 mph towards the air base at around 10.55pm. A Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star was diverted to check out the object. About an hour later that night another UFO was tracked, this time there was a ground sighting from a control tower, which was witnessed as a bright light travelling very fast.

Rendlesham Forest UFO Crash (1980)

The Rendlesham Forest "UFO Crash" is perhaps the best known "UFO case" in Britain. It has all the ingredients of an intriguing mystery story: determined investigators facing incredible difficulties, military officers "covering the truth", shady characters making their appearance and the promise of a final revelation that would shake the Pillars of Heaven.

Ranton UFO (1954)

On 21st October 1954 in Ranton, Staffordshire, Jessie Rosenberg, then aged 29, and her two children, witnessed a lens shaped object flying overhead. They also saw two humanoid figures with blond hair staring down at them. They were so scared by the encounter that they hid under a table in their house.

It is reported that they had several psychic experiences afterwards.

Telford UFO Abduction (1981)

On 16th July 1981near Telford three women travelling in a car witnessed a UFO, and then suffered a period of missing time. When they were hypnotically regressed they all remembered different details and entities as part of an abduction scenario.

Lindisfarne Priory UFO Sighting (793AD)

In 793AD monks at the monastery of St Cuthbert witnessed ‘dragons’ flying in the sky and other strange sky-bourne portents. Shortly after the sighting in January, the monastery was attacked and razed by Viking invaders. The dragons were seen as an evil omen. (This is taken from the Anglo Saxon Chronicles).

Cresswell UFO (1942)

September 1942, Cresswell radar base near Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. Albert Lancashire (then 27), was on duty when he spotted a light source in the sky that went behind a cloud (or a dark mist in other versions). Then a yellow beam about a foot wide shone out of the object and moved to shine directly in Albert’s face.
