The Crabmill

The Crabmill used to be known as The Oldswinford and at one time many years ago it was a Doctor’s surgery. Temporary managers are particularly wary here as they are likely to be treated to loud noises coming from the empty rooms in the early hours of the morning.

More troublesome spirits also make their presence felt, or heard, in the pub and the cellars from time to time. Plates have been known to fly around in the kitchen and temporary managers particularly can often look forward to disturbed nights due to unaccountable noises coming from within supposedly empty rooms.

The old Doctor who once owned the building allegedly committed suicide and he is believed to be the apparition, wearing a top hat and a black suit, who has been seen on a number of occasions by both staff and customers steadfastly striding through the pub which was once his home.
