I’m doing a little creative writing project and I was wondering if anyone could help me research a little something.
I’m trying to find a list of superstitions and folklore about protection from the supernatural. The Wolfsbane plant being used to ward off Werewolves is an example of the kind of thing I’m interested in.

Does anybody know of an area where this sort of phenomena occurs on a regular basis? Has anyone heard of a case where one is reported? Do you think that if one was seen it may be reported as something else, maybe a ghost or UFO, rather than associate it with a piece of folklore such as a wilow the wisp?

Hello all I’m not sure whether this is the right section of the forum to place this query, but here we go. I did a quick search for the word "cucullatti", but I might be mispelling it.They are spirits of the landscape and often come in threes.

This morning I awoke and instinctively found myself saying "White Rabbit", a custom that I grew up with (Lancashire/Yorkshire border) suggesting that by saying White Rabbit on the first of the month before uttering any other words will bring good luck.

Modern Wiccans confuse me….if I were to embrace a pagan religion it would be Celtic Revisionist…or whatever the correct name for that is.
One of the things that confuses me is all these pagan groups use the Gregorian calender to celebrate Samhain, Beltane (and these is even one Wiccan group at refuses to acknowlegde the male element)
