An apparition has apparently been seen climbing the steps of the observatory tower of Lincoln Castle and vanishing at the top.

The Liverpool Playhouse on Williamson Square is said to be haunted by a cleaning lady who was killed when a curtain fell and broke her neck as she was knocked into the pit. She is said to haunt th ebalcony and seat 45.

St Catherines Chapel (Lydiate Abbey) – Sounds of ghostly babies crying and screaming are said to haunt Lydiate Abbey. There is a tunnel legend between the abbey and nearby Hall used Catholic Priests to escape persecution.
