St Mary's Church in Clophill
Does anyone have any stories about Clophill? There's a lot written about the incidents of Devil Worship at the church, which began in 1963. This seems to have led to a rise to a whole host of ghostly sightings there right up to present day.
I'm currently producing a documentary on Clophill, so would be interested in hearing any stories.

Hi Hydro, welcome to the forum. I am not sure about recent sightings at Clophill but Tony Broughall's book Two Haunted Counties has a small bit about the case in the 1970's. It may be worth approaching Tony through The Limbury Press (www.limburypress.co.uk).
Thanks Ian. I spoke to Tony at length last weekend. He was full of interesting stories :)Thank you for the pointer.

I am currently in the process of making a documentary on Clophill focusing on the old st.mary's church. Ive been researching and heard many stories about the place and im wondering if anyone has any more info on the place or any interesting pictures of it during the 60's?
We did get sent odd photos of clophill from some visitors but this was a long time ago probably 7 years now.
Not sure if much has happened here in the last few decades really, and am of the opinion that the events of the 60's probably created its notoriety.
Hiya daniel,
Just wondering if you have any of these old photographs and if so if you can could send them to us and we can post them back once we are done? im wanting as much archive footage as possible.
Thanks,
Heidi
Heidi there's loads of info out there. But the more interesting photos are archive ones of the 60s and 70s, rather than more recent ones.
I recently solved a ghost mystery there that had been circulating since the 1970s, if not earlier. Also interviewed witnesses to the Devil Worship in the 60s and 70s. It's a fascinating place.
