What are you planning to do with the database?

Hi Bill, welcome to Mysterious Britain.  So what are your plans for your database.  As you see we have our own right here what everyone can contribute to.

Hello, firstly thankyou for accomodating my post here it seems like a fantastic site and such a friendly  community. This ‘database’ is part of an ongoing project which i intend to act as a reference tool for paranormal enthusiasts such as myself. Its still got an awful lot of work to be done to it but i hope that others will find it as interesting as i have while creating it. I am not yet certain of which format it would be best presented in but as of yet im still sorting through the accounts so ill come to that soon. Personal experience and that of friends and family have had a large influence on me to further this work, as well as keen interest and i hope that those who share my interest will find this work compelling. Thankyou very much to those who have already contributed! Brilliant stuff, and i look forward to hearing from more people.

Sounds interesting Bill, I hope you get some good responses.  I think you do need to give the presentation of the information some thought, as many cases as I am sure you are aware should be kept confidential to protect the witnesses.  I get a lot of e-mails regarding personal experiences but they won’t be shown on this website with express instructions from the witnesses involved.  Once people know whether they are dealing with a book or website they will be in a better position when approaching you as to what will be done with the information.
