Joanna Southcott, English Prophetess

Joanna Southcott, English Prophetess

I’d like write a few lines about this colorful character, now often forgotten, and hear if you know more about her and her antics.
Joanna Southcott was born in 1750 in Gittisham, Devonshire, in a farming community. Her parents were members of the Methodist Church.

A Genuine Poltergiest

A Genuine Poltergiest

The term poltergeist is derived from German, and literally means noisy ghost or spirit. The term relates to a specific type of haunting, which involves the movement of objects, objects appearing and disappearing, strange noises and general chaos. More often than not nothing is seen on these occasions but the phenomena is very distressing for the people concerned.

A close friend of mine commented that in these days when camera’s are more common we should be getting more pictures of ghosts. In and around the 1960’s we had fantastic images such as the White Lady on the Tulip Staircase.

Circle Fakers?

Circle Fakers?

We know now that many of the crop circles that
have been reported over the past twenty years or so have been faked as
the culprits admitted it. Is it fair to say that all Crop Circles are
probably faked and how can we tell if they are not?

Gremlins & Their Kin

Gremlins & Their Kin

I have stumbled across this funny piece on the recent and much-publicized aircraft accident over the Philippines: http://theparanormalpastor.blogspot.com/2008/07/gremlins-on-attack.html .
