Are there any long term affects of having a ‘strange/paranormal’ experience? Have you had a paranormal experience? If so, did it change your opinions or views on the paranormal and any other aspects of your life?

I recently had a discussion with someone who writes ghost stories. He will take his inspiration from genuine locations and people, then write a fictional tale. He told me that some times he just changes the location and people around, so his stories are good for anywhere and he has spent years spreading them around.

I have looked back at a few previous forum topic pages and could not find Glamis there. I apologize if I am already going over a previously discussed item.

I would love to know about any phantom hitchikers in England, and to follow a story from my country,South Africa.
Between Uniondale and Willowmore,in the semi-desert area of the Karoo there is a very well known story about a phantom Hitchiking girl.

Here is an experience from one of our readers at Castle Fraser in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. The events had quite an effect on her and have been on her mind ever since:
"I visited Castle Fraser about 6 or 7 years ago. We were there to help my boyfriends mum who had a stall (she made and sold long capes) at the ‘Gathering of the Frasers’.
