Strange places
Has anyone got any tales of places they used to go when growing up, for example when you or one of your mates started to drive and spent nights exploring the so called haunted places of your neighborhood?

I can’t really see the fuss over these as who’s to say it’s not Che Geuvara, Obi Wan Kenobi, Odin, Merlin, one of the beatles in 1969 etc. But they do seem to cause a lot of fuss.

Disclaimer: I do not wish this topic to become an issue for criticizing or poking fun at religion but just to gather popular traditions about kings and saints from the early days of post-Roman Britain up to the Conquest.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any spirits creatures or legends concerning mirrors. I’ve read the few where cockatrices and dragons/wyrms were distracted with mirrors, and the legend of Bloody Mary (quite interesting, by the way), but I was interested if there was any sort of fairy or such like that actually lived in mirrors or travelled using them, summoned with them.

We recieved an e-mail about a local variation of the Hikey Sprite from Norfolk and have recieved permission to put it here, it is quite interesting as they are mostly described as benevolent in literature, whereas the one descibed here is not, Here it is: I have edited some detail:

Has anybody seen todays news which shows a ‘ghostly image’ thought to be the scientist Edward Jenner, sitting in a chair at the Edward Jenner Museum in Berkley?
I’m very sorry, I’m not too good with computers and have no idea how to post the link. Maybe if someone else could post it, others could give their opinion on the photo.

The following questions are a simple test for those who would like to find out if they are the above,I can only ask questions about what I am myself familiar with, but would be interrested in the results of others 🙂
1.) Have you ever seen a Spirit person or ghost?
2.) Have you ever heard someone calling your name when you are alone?
