Michael Jackson seance
Any Views on the new programme that is to be aired with Derek Acorah trying to contact Michael Jackson (no there isn’t a punchline) – seems a bit odd to me, well bad taste at least.

Hi All,
I wonder if any members of this Forum have heard of a Marjorie Staves a Celebrated Clairvoyante (British) who had Private Sittings by Appointment.
She lived in New Cavendish Street, London sometime in the early 70’s through to about 1982.
I do know she wrote a well respected book on the subject, but any information would be very welcome.

The following questions are a simple test for those who would like to find out if they are the above,I can only ask questions about what I am myself familiar with, but would be interrested in the results of others đŸ™‚
1.) Have you ever seen a Spirit person or ghost?
2.) Have you ever heard someone calling your name when you are alone?

We have recently been contacted by a reader asking if we know of any Spiritualist Churches in Ireland. From what I can gather, Spiritualism is not as wide spread in Ireland as it is in the United Kingdom. Does anyone where a list of Irish churches can be found?

From what I understand Spirit Guides aid the psychic make contact with the spirit realm.
How do you communicate with your guide?
Do all mediums do it the same way?
Do all mediums have a spirit guide?
How come they can communicate with spirits from ancient times without any apparent language difficulties?

I suppose that for a medium to have a discussion with a spirit and get information, it must have retained it’s memories. If the spirit can therefore retain memories, how come people suffer memory loss with brain damage, old age or certain ailments, as surely these don’t damage the spirit itself.

I have been reading up on a few definitions. Divination is a method of obtaining unknown knowledge. Necromancy is a form of divination through communicating with the dead. Therefore, does this make everyone who uses Oui Ja boards, all spiritualists and anyone on a vigil who says "Is there anybody there?" a Necromancer?

Just as it asks in the title. Does it happen suddenly or slowly over time? Do all mediums or clairvoyants have a similar story?
